The movie made me smile and cry the whole time. It brought back memories from an innocent time in my life. Thank you Tom, Val, and everyone else involved.

The authenticity of the scene between Maverick and Iceman made it one of my favorite parts.
I didn't know about Kilmer's throat cancer.
Tom Cruise's respect and compassion shines.
May God bless them.

Wonderful to know that Tom Cruise wanted old friend Val Kilmer in Maverick ..plus the son of Val Kilmer helped his dad to voice his role .❤❤❤

His son looks just like him! I was crying when I saw Val in his age and health difficulties 😢 in Maverick. He's Batman. He's my childhood. He is such a smooth man. I'm glad he has a son and family.

I got to sit next to Val Kilmer in a screening of The Revenant nine years ago. That was exciting.

So sad for Val, he was one of my favorite actors as a kid, favorite 2 movies with Val in them are Tombstone, and he'll always be my huckleberry, and the remake of The Saint, he absolutely killed multiple characters in that flick! I wish him all the best, even though I know where smoking gets people... trying to quit currently as well before I end up like Val, but without the money for top notch care...

That and the idea of bringing and old flame from his past to me was what clicked in the whole film and they pretty much aced it, I can only imagine what Val could've accomplished if not for health issues knowing that he's a one of kind actor God bless him for trying..👌

I’ve met Val when he came to town and I was so shocked how he was talking; his energy was amazing and he was FUNNY as hell. He did have trouble talking and it was raspy but still very upbeat. I feel blessed that I was able to meet him, talk to him and even got to hug him.

I died last August. Doctors brought me back and I had emergency open heart surgery then two months unconscious while on life support. When I awoke I couldn't move or speak. Difficult asking for help without any way to communicate. I was finally given a piece of paper with abc's so I could point and spell out words.

I spelled poop to the nurse. She looked at me and said what? I spelled poop again. She kept saying she didn't understand. I didn't want to spell shit. And I couldn't spell out sentences. It took all I had to move my finger. Finally a lab tech came into my room. She asked him to see what I was trying to communicate. He said you have to have a bowl movement. I blinked my eyes for yes. I was thinking the whole time that I got the dumbest nurse in the hospital, everyone knows what poop is.

I feel for anyone who can't speak or move. I finally got my speech back after 3 weeks. took another month to get my arms to work and two or three months to get back to walking. I still struggle with it all.

They also did that for the Willow show. His son talked for the character. Though he was never actually shown.
