Dead grass is a natural fertilizer. Try either mulching or composting them. I like that mower.

Our local pet store has little pieces of charcoal you can put into the dogs waterbowl. Within a few weeks the spots no longer kept appearing!

Just a tip, if you want to cut at lower height use a pgr so it doesnt griw as fast so your not cutting off more than 1/3 of the blade

You need to take this larn mower to the larn Mower Museum. There is much safer mower in today's world. They also, in some way, do a great job, use less gasoline, and burn less oil !!

As far as i know yellow spots from dog pee can be fixed with balancing the ph balance? Idk my friend did it and it seems to be growing great now

There are water additives that are supposed to prevent those spots. Might check em out!

The only reason why the grass turns yellow is cause the of the barking fertilizer drops are over fertilizing the grass in that one spot and burning the grass. That's why watering it immediately helps with the thatching. Irrigation system helps remedy that as well. Bolster and terrasorb helps with the yellowing after cutting. Bolster is a light grade fertilizer, lighter than triple 8 and help grass roots spread. Terrasorb helps with water retention in the root system of plants.

If your dog likes to go in the same spots on the lawn regularly when the urinate, watering out those spots after the dogs use it will prevent the chemicals in their urine won't yellow the grass

Use pelletized lime on the dog spots. The lime neutralizes the acidic pee/poop.

Follow your dogs with the water hose and you won't have to worry about your grass dying or changing color. I know. I have 2 dogs.

Flood the pee spot with water after the dog is done, you can also get a gypsum dust product to help neutralize the damged soul in the spots that are already yellowed.

My sister uses "dog rocks" that she puts in her dogs water bowl and it seems to help.

Water the spot immediately after the potty break. Urine will be diluted enough where it will not damage the lawn.

The Yellow spots from the dog will be alleviated if you water straight away, on the same spot. Also look into your dogs diet.
