I started deep cleaning the house a week ago. I mean behind the fridge, behind the stove, the garage, the patio, all the drains, everywhere. I cleaned up my closet and donated all the shoes and clothes that I no longer wear. I did all my laundry too. Today, I have only a few things to do and prepare NYE dinner later today. Happy New Year everyone!!!!

I love it! I started making my own laundry detergent with these same products and purchased a 22lb dog food container for easier handling and maintenance of my detergent. The container has wheels and easy to use snap lid. It’s so satisfying putting my own laundry products in and it’s a great money saving tool. So glad you shared this.

I’m Mexican and we do this too!!! I do this maybe 2 to 3 times a year for a family of 6 all stinky boys lol !!! It’s amazing ❤️❤️

For those wondering if this works in cold water or if there are concerns about the washing machine getting clogged, try taking the amount to be used in a small bowl or cup, add hot water into powder, pour into washer once its full of water.

That bin will last the rest of your life. My sister used to make her own laundry soap, and I loved it. Borax is so good. You have to try it. She didn't use fragrance though, she has very sensitive skin. Love seeing this!!

Zote, washing soda and oxy is all I need. The folks in my house have sensitive skin, so these three do the trick just fine! And i spent less than 30 dollars for about 5 months worth of detergent. ❤

I remember when gain would have your clothes smelling fresh up until time you went to wear it. Now by time you fold them the scent has faded away. 😅

If you have sensitive skin add an extra rinse cycle or two. Does the trick everytime and people literally follow you because you smell so heavenly!

You're so right about washing detergents being watered down, including Clorax bleach... Manufacturers think they're slick.

I didn't know Zote came grated also! That really is a game changer. I make my own laundry detergent also and love it.

I follow JeevesNY (a professional launderer) & he also recommended the Ariel as a top detergent. I use ultra-concentrated liquids (haven’t used powders in probably 20 years) but I’m interested in this bulk powder method 🤔
