My short take on the situation regarding EVGA and Nvidia's 22-year partnership. It was really late, and I was tired, so I accidentally shot the video in DCI4k 24fps 10bit 4:2:2.

I ordered an EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra Gaming from Amazon a few days ago when I heard the bad news. I wanted a 4000 series but since it won't be an EVGA, I don't want it. The new card is arriving some time today and I'm excited. They make the best GPU cards and I'm sad to see them move on.

Since Jensen want NVIDIA to be vertically integrated they will probably try to ramp up their FE Production to cover the gap left by Evga

EVGA never moved any products through the queue, they cancelled all of them and replaced everything with LHR models. EVGA seems to be mirroring what BFG did around 20 years ago, move from graphics cards to power supplies. Unfortunately for BFG they made a critical error in their early offerings and despite receiving glowing reviews (samples were pre-production) almost all of their power supplies were DOA. I'd love to see EVGA steal a page out of the chinese playbook and just start making motherboards and graphics cards without authorization from the chipmakers, and of course without following the capricious rules re: power limits but I suspect they wouldn't get the same blind-eye treatment. EVGA's current strategy of just dropping from these overly controlled markets doesn't leave them with much recourse however, and if they started breaking all the rules they might get a chance to challenge what's obviously illegal vertical integration monopolization.

This really stinks because the Tawainese board partners have horrific customer serivce and quality control compared ot EVGA.
