*Recipe:* *_Sauted Beef and Mushroom Cream Sauce (Beef Stroganoff)_*

*Ingredients:*

- Beef (Sirloin, Rib Eye, Flank, Chuck, Round)
- Onions
- Portobello Mushrooms
- Garlic
- Butter
- Flour
- Heavy Cream
- Chicken Broth
- Balsamic vinegar (Red Wine Vinegar, Sherry Wine, or Worcestershire sauce substitute)
- Sour Cream
- French's Dijon Mustard
- Salt/Pepper
- Olive Oil
- Rice
- Chives

*Side Note:* Sauce resembles a Marsala sauce without the Wine (because not all people use alcohol or can obtain it - personal rant over). Resembles a Beef Stroganoff dish without pasta.

*Cooking Instructions*

Slice beef, onions, and mushrooms. *Preheat pan and saute your beef (coat oil pan first) for 10-15 minutes* on medium high heat. Set beef aside and butter up *(1/4 stick of butter)* the pan (to create the roux). After it melts, saute onions/mushrooms/minced garlic for 3-5 minutes and *add 1/4 cup of flour* (equal ratio to weight of butter used).

Add *1-1¼ cup of chicken broth, 2-2½ cups of heavy cream, 4 TBS of sour cream, 1-2 TBS of French's Dijon Mustard, a splash of balsamic vinegar, salt/pepper, * and add the meat back in. Let it finish up cooking on *medium high heat to high heat* for 7-10 more minutes to infuse everything together.

Optionally, serve on a bed of white rice and garnish with chives. Enjoy, kiddos 🖤❤
