HEAVY ON THE NEGATIVE YOUTUBERS, good lord. Watching you be so joyous and passionate about the things you like on your channel was a calm in the storm. 2022 put me through so much in my personal life that it magnified how much of my internet circle and social media environment went from people talking about shit they love, (and even criticizing it in funny, even-keeled ways) to bitter, soulless, pessimistic rant machines. I was supposed to be relaxing and entertained, informed as well, but mostly all I got was an algorithm feeding me reasons to be depressed & angry all the time and it’s hard to consume any media without being bombarded with either dogmatic sycophancy or overwhelming hatred. Shit’s wild.

Honestly, like the two years before it, my favorite thing that happened in 2022 was just getting through it. Glad we made it to the other side. 😅

- Both go quicker than the runtime
- Both are worth watching

Best thing of 2022 for me was Beyonce's Renaissance, she really made me realize how much I missed when musicians make ALBUMS. that first listen when I first heard how every song transitioned into the other... I'd give back like 99% of last years music for hearing it for the first time again.

I think I liked Everything Everywhere All at Once in a different way though. They were both phenomenal just in very different ways and EEAAO hit in a way that was more catered for and new to me
