Andrew James William Copson is Chief Executive of Humanists UK (formerly known as the British Humanist Association), a position he has held since 1 January 2010, and former Director of Education and Public Affairs at the British Humanist Association from 2005 to 2010. In 2015, Copson was elected President of Humanists International (then known as the International Humanist and Ethical Union), the global umbrella body for atheist, Humanist, sceptic and secularist organisations.
