Andrew Copson is the Chief Executive of Humanists UK, a national charity "working towards a tolerant world where rational thinking and kindness prevail". It's work "helps people be happier and more fulfilled, and by bringing non-religious people together we help them develop their own views and an understanding of the world around them".

Andrew is also the President of Humanists International, the "global umbrella organisation for humanist and other non-religious organisations, building the international humanist network and representing humanism at the UN and other international institutions".

In this episode we discuss Andrew's excellent new book The Little Book of Humanism, co-authored by Professor Alice Roberts. We also discuss fake news, 'cancel culture' and what the peerless Bertrand Russell would make of today's world.
