Well said Andrew!! They're simply making more divisions in our society.

Well stated Andrew. It's a shame taxpayer's money is being spent on something the overwhelming majority of people don't want. But what's new?

My biggest regret in life is that I sent my children to a catholic school. Their father is a catholic. I am relieved and delighted that they will have nothing to do with religion.

😿 Andrew, you put your case so clearly on this retrograde decision. There is no justification for any religious interference in state education at any level. Had this school been supported by the Church of England it might have had some semblance of justification, but it is the Roman Catholic Church in control. I dread the next announcement of another faith school opening, using the Peterborough example as justification.

As for Faith schools in the U.K. Roman Catholic state school have two Governing Bodies. The Catholic Church and the government. So 80% of the places should be for Catholic children. Where they can learn the values and teachings of the Roman Catholic religion. To suggest that state schools should be banned is disgusting.

Faith schools should be banned.

But the Religious conservatives hold the reigns in policy making. So not holding my breath...

Great to hear this guy highlight the truth about this type of schooling... just an opportunity to extent the life of religions

Any religion that supports Humanism would not have divided schools and having this division means they are not practicing humanism which should be a core teaching of these religions and creationism.

Britain may have a generally secular society, but sadly religious institutions are very good lobbyists.
