Excel Tips & Tricks from the Maestro - 23rd June 2020

In this London Excel Meetup, I was delighted to welcome Bob Umlas.

Bob presented an abundance of tips and tricks. Bring your tin helmet because they were flying.

You can download the two files used by Bob in the presentation below.

During the presentation, at 35 minutes Bob had to reboot his machine. He resumes at 55 minutes.

There is too much to say about this Excel legend than I can fit inside this box but....

He has been using Excel since version 0.99 (on the Macintosh)! He was a contributing editor to Inside Microsoft Excel for many years, a magazine devoted exclusively to Microsoft Excel and published by The Cobb Group and later Ziff-Davis.

He was awarded the MVP award in 1993 (the first Excel MVP) and received it for 25 years up to 2018.

He has written numerous books, and hosted & presented at many conferences, and been a beta-tester for Excel for production.

WOW!! What a super session. Thanks Bob and Alan for presenting this useful and power packed collection of tips and Excel trickery and wisdom to the masses. I saw parts of it live, but 10 AM in the U.S. is workday territory, so missed some things due to calls. Looking forward to spending some detailed time with the replay. Again.. many.. many thanks for the generous sharing of knowledge and enrichment. Will definitely recommend you both in my circle :)) Thumbs up!!

No need to close Excel on getting research pop up, you can use f2 instead.

Great session from Bob Umlas, and thanks to Alan for bringing him in. Picked up a lot from the master. Was taking the tips down in OneNote and took a bit of time to finish. I got stuck at adding across sheets. I think you missed to mention the "Exclamation mark" after *'.

Unfortunately here in Australia Melbourne Timing issue can't join live sessions.
This session again very informative is there any you can send a link to download a file. Its hard to remember everything.
