I'm half Vietnamese and my mom used to make a soup (she just called it 'udon' because it uses udon nopdles) of the broth just being water mixed with soy sauce, fish sauce, and a drizzle of sesame oil. And she would add udon noodles, some vegetables (usually bok choy or brussel sprouts), alpng with some protein (usually tofu or fish balls, just spherical fish cakes)

ramen is one of my go-to meals! my favorite additions are kimchi, tofu, fried egg, and spam, in whatever combination you feel like. anything that needs fried, i fry in sesame oil, and i always top the bowl with chili crisp oil for umami and spiciness.

Every time when I’m like three or four years old that time I can’t stand a chance when I had to go to a Japanese Ramen restaurant I can’t stop eating the Ramen 🍜 when I used to live there

I freeze tiny portions of meat from left over meat (like literally a slice of roast or a piece of chicken). Easy add to instant noodles to make it feel like a "real" meal :)

Nothing better than leftover steak porkchops or chicken in a bowl of ramen. Right out of the fridge to help cool the soup off and still heat the meats. Was doing this when i was a young lad.
