Chris Pine is so polite and humble. I love his approach here, he doesn't act like a big movie star and I have always liked that about him. I hope he never gets big headed because he seems like a genuinely good guy

Just saw Chris Pine all dressed up in NYC on opposite side of the street from a group of adoring fans calling out his name. Chris finished what he was doing and left his group, crossing the street to shake hands with the fans. His smile was genuine and he earned a smile from me for being a classy guy. Well done Captain Kirk!

Loved Shatner's Kirk ( will always be my favourite) but Chris Pine did a fantastic job. The whole cast did! (Love Simon Pegg as Scotty!).

I was very skeptical about Chris Pine playing Captain Kirk, mostly because I've adored Kirk since the series first aired in Trinidad back in the early seventies and adored Shatner also. But he did a fine job of it. I wasn't disappointed.

I loved how, when Spock Prime meets young/alternate Kirk, he's so happy (though of course he doesn't show it) and treats him exactly the same, immediately calling him "Jim" and assuming he had come to rescue him.

Chris seemed real in awe and real respectful of Bill, as he should... I think his portrayal of young Kirk will do it justice and the new movie seems fitting ot the old series but with a newer edge to it to attract new fans... it can only better the franchise... I dont think itll hurt it in any way but they really should have had a part for shatner in the movie other than that I cant wait to go see it this friday!!♥

I love Star Trek, intelligent and sober science fiction, interesting texts and even very well-represented moral issues on canvas, both the show and the movie! And the two actors are amazing, of course Mr. Shatner will always be the Original Kirk! But I love the new movie !
