the e55 is hands down the best car in this video, and I've owned Audi s4's and M3's. The E55 amg is an absolute beast, super under looked car. Bulletproof as well other than the airmatic air suspension but that could easily be swapped out for coilovers. The Sbc pump recall has been extended for 25 years. Overall the E55 AMG is the bang for the buck.

the m113k engine combined with the 5g tronic is the most reliable no doubt. The M5 is an explosion in progress. I have no idea of the audi, however it looks much outdated.

Worrying about an engine replasement in the Audi??? What about you guys at fifth gear get your facts right. Not mentioning the horrific engine failiure in the BMW where the rod conection eventually will break...

before buying an m5 always buy a new set of rod bearings first, unless you want the knock knock booom of course

If I had to choose one, it would be the Merc, as much as I like the E60 M5 I don’t trust it to be reliable.

Only one sane choice here. THE w211 Mercedes E55 AMG with the wonderful m113k and robust 5g Auto.

BMW has great looks, but the Mercedes e55 with the 5 speed automatic is the clear choice because its very reliable.

Never buy an old, used sports car unless you're ready to pay huge amounts in maintenance and repairs. Especially if your the third owner and the second owner is aged below 30.
