I just lost my dad on the 14th and we loved watching your show together ❤ just want to say thank you for many a good meal and laughs together with him. I've never made a Sam recipe I didn't enjoy!

I've tried this a couple times. My tweak: cut the sausages at an angle, and roast them first, for about 20 min or so; maybe as long as 30 min depending on your oven and how hot you want to cook. THEN, add your veg and roast them for another 20 - 30 minutes. That way, the sausages should brown up a bit without cooking the veggies to death.

Hey Sam, I made this last night. I swapped out some of the veggies, and rutabaga worked out great in place of potatoes. It was excellent and so super easy. Thanks for all the wonderful content!

In school, I was always taught that when peeling an onion, you always remove the papery layer AND the first actual onion layer. This way, you save all the "waste" to freeze and then toss into the stock pot later on. Onion peels, carrot peels, tops and ends, meat scraps and bones all go in to make the best stock. For even more color and depth of flavor, roast everything in the oven before simmering in the stock pot.

What I love about this video is the pan looks like people actually cook with it. Most people use equipment that looks like no one uses it. Meal looks great thanks for your content

Sam, I’ve been having the week from hell! My car is out of commission because of a recall that was supposed to have been fixed, no loaner cars available, and today I fell on my ass at work in front of a lot of people. 🤦🏼‍♀️ knowing that I had a Sam video to watch after work with my boyfriend had me laughing rather than crying.
