A little tip: save the soaking water for garden and house plants as it contains helpful nutrients for growth and health. It's free fertilizer.

I probabily know every single vegan culinary channel on youtube, but I must say that you are definitely one of the top 20. You are very creative and what I like is your healthy approach. Just keep posting👏👏👏🙏😘

what a refreshing watch! No irrelevant background music, just the 'natural' sounds of cooking which are so meditative. I just subscribed because of this peaceful approach - and I love the lentil 'meatballs'. Thank you x

This is a nice change from my regular lentil meatballs recipe. These are softer and more simply flavored - which was quite pleasant. The only change I made was to use masoor dal (the split red lentils) because I had a surplus of them due to disorganized shopping on my part. They do soften and cook quicker, so I cut the soaking time a bit. But they tasted great and had a pretty yellow-orange color that was enhanced by the grated carrots. I will definitely make these again, so thank you!

This was indeed incredible. I used it as a filling for stuffed swiss chard rolls. It was perfect. The flavor was mild and the texture was so close to that of meat in the filling. It holds together beautifully and has just the right feel. It firms up in the cooking so keeping it loose is the key.
I've been making stuffed cabbage since I was 16 and since going vegan I've been looking for a decent substitute for ground meat and this is it. I can't wait to use it in Grandma's stuffed cabbage recipe. Thank you so much. It seems every recipe of yours is a winner for us.

You are doing a great job for the society❤️ I was a hard core non vegetarian till I visited a farm and witnessed the horror of the dairy industry. The cow is inseminated painfully every 6 months so that calf is born. The calves are taken away immediately without a single drop of milk. The male calves are transported to the slaughterhouse to be killed on the very day. This process continues for some years till the cow is completely exhausted and later sold for meat. That’s the milk we consume. I literally had sleepless nights after watching the cows, their udders become so big they can’t even move. And they run to save their babies from going to the slaughterhouse.
Thank you for these recepies so that people can choose compassion in their plate instead of pain.

Not a vegetarian but definitely looks delicious as a side or an option for a meat-free meal! I’m suddenly soy intolerant so this looks like a great option :)

Can you do this with lectin-free ingredients for inflammation reduction and weight loss? Like sorghum or hemp seeds? Gluten is one kind of lectins which causes all kinds of inflammation from farting to serious auto immune diseases like diabetes, Alzheimer's, and speed up cancer growth.

I made this, it was very tasty. I didn't have rice so I used oatmeal instead. Thank you😊

Excellent‼️ The combination of lentils and rice forms a complete protein.🌹🌼🌹

As a diabetic -- I will make this for sure - however - I will use cauliflower rice instead of the rice you used. Rice is very high in carbohydrates and my glucose level will rise extremely high IF I was to make this as you did -- appears to be very delicious -- so I did subscribe - thank you

Is there any way that I could print the recipe. I'm not so high tech and it's hard to write it all down as I watch the video. It's nice to watch but I like to follow a recipe from a printed piece of paper. I had to keep reviewing it to make sure I got it right. I just tried the recipe. I hope it comes out good.

This is absolutely delicious!!! Can be cooked without making balls and used to stuff samosa, kachoree, puff pastries and can eaten with roti/rice as a gravy. A suggestion probably adding thick yogurt i.e. hung curd would not only add flavour but raise the protein value too.

This look so appetising, I will be trying very shortly 😊 I have a question can you freeze the Lentil balls uncooked/cooked ? Also could you make a lentil loaf with the mixture ? Thank you ❤

Looks delicious, but I would sauté with water instead of oil.

Great recipe ... I would cook these without the sauce and use as appetisers with drinks. Just make a couple of different dips ... delicious. These would freeze well.too so great to make in advance...
I will try the lentil, but also black bean and maybe a chickpea so can have variety ...
Thanks for sharing ... 😊
