I do not want to appear as a hater, but I, and many others, do not believe this performance merits the 2nd highest prize at the Queen Elisabeth Competition. The technical inadequacy as displayed by poor intonation and articulation, most especially in double stop sections, fast sections, and fast double stop sections, alone speak more loudly to this point than I can describe.
