I made this video in my normal silly sarcastic tone, but rewatching it made me really sad. It’s sad that families have been ripped apart over such trivial issues. It’s sad that as a parent we feel like our kids just aren’t safe because of all the things. It’s sad that grandparents feel like they can’t spoil their grandchildren. I really hope that in your family you’re able to communicate your desires and boundaries lovingly. I hope you are heard, but I also hope you don’t let those things ruin real life relationships.

That grill pattern you see on the door of a microwave is basically creating a Faraday cage, the microwaves aren't just gonna spill out, you'd probably be getting warm if they did, so if the door's shutting with a nice clunk then you're good to go.

Grandpa might be giving the boys a lesson on how to clean the microwave if the popcorn's overdone though... probably with a plastic dish sponge, non-green detergent, and plain old tap water!

I lost my parents over 9years ago. My in-laws passed away 4 and 2 years ago. My husband and I are it now. I wish my kids had a grandparent 😢
