I don't think Christianity says you must not know your lineage, i mean everyone has got a family tree but the issue to my understanding is when you engage them when they have passed on which the bible forbids, if, when they've passed, they go and wait somewhere for the day of judgement then who are these ones that come to us and demand sacrifices like slaughtering of goats et.c and who turn your life upside down if you don't, who are these ones who are so vested in the world of the living so much so that they even willing to kill you if you don't toe the line, whats in it for them, i think these are the questions we need to settle.

1. Heaven is God's
2. He sent an invitation through His Son Jesus for errbody to come to join the party in heaven

You may deny those truth claims. But it is intellectually dishonest to not face the truth of your decision to reject God.

If my family decides to reject God, i must love and resepect the sovereignty of their God-given free will to do so.

To claim that the one who accepted the invite is happy to see one who rejects the invite is intellectually dishonest.

On the contrary, Christians are saddened by those who reject the free invite to heaven.
