AUBIKA Cooling Fan + Removable Face Pad for Meta/Oculus Quest 2 Accessories, Facial Interface with Soft Sweatproof PU Cover, Air Circulation to Anti Fogging and Reduce Facial Stuffiness
CLAIMS FROM THE COMPANY:
💨【Reduce Lens Fogging & Facial Stuffiness】The fan is equipped with a ventilation structure, which continuously draws out the moist and hot air inside the mask to realize active air circulation. The custom partition support frame inside the fan allows the wind to flow out in a predetermined direction, and the air exchange speed is faster.
🤿【Comfortable Face Cover】The face pad is made of soft PU, sweat-proof and easy to clean, filled with thick memory foam. The facial interface is made of TPU+PC material, which is soft and bendable, and can flexibly adapt to different facial contours.
🤿【Play With Glasses】Able to play with glasses, saving you the trouble of wearing contact lenses. (Glasses within 6 inches wide only.) The face cover is equipped with a detachable anti-leakage nose pad to block external light, bring you immersive VR experience.
💨【Two-Speed Adjustment】The fan is equipped with two-speed wind speed adjustment to suit different usage modes. There is a 500mAh battery inside, it only takes 2.5 hours to fully charge, and it can be used for 3.5-4.5 hours after being fully charged. During use, you can connect the Type-C charging cable to charge the fan.
💨【Multiple Air Duct Design】Air ducts are added to the top and bottom of the face cover, and V-shaped air inlets are designed to guide the flow of wind, which can avoid one-way flow of air in the bracket and effectively prevent dry eyes. Packaging includes 1* Air Circulation Cooling Fan, 1* Flexible Facial Interface with Soft Face Pad, 1* 0.15m USB-C Charging Cable.

I have warmed up to this one. I really like the air flow and with the thicker VR cover foam facial interface fixes the comfort and side lighting entering (I still noticed some light on the BoboVR facial interface too however it was less noticeable than this one). The noise from the fan is a little annoying since it resonates through the BoboVR A2 headphones however put some felt between the fan unit and the Quest 2 and this helps some. I really like how tightly the facial interface attaches (unlike the BoboVR that was become quite loose over time at least along the bottom). I also like how secure the fan fits onto the Quest 2 unlike the BoboVR version that would fall off quite easily (I really like magnets however they are too weak to hold it on well). I look forward to seeing what Aubika comes up with in the future in regards to making this better. I am easily keeping this for now. I am quite happy with this purchase (with the modification that I made). Thanks for the video.

I had the issue with that facial interface it does not work with oculus offical Glasses spacer. It clicked at the bottom but not the top, i need the glasses spacer because i share my headset, and I also use kiwi lens protector, but this fan found a home on my friend's headset, that not a glasses wearer And ya its kinda loud, but thanks anyway Jay. Keep up the good work. As the boogie man of quest accessories reviewers. MAKING PRODUCTS BETTER FOR US ALL. 🙏

Damn, I was hoping with the larger battery and more airflow they had built a winner. Maybe Aubika will fix the light bleed, comfort, and fan noise and come out with a JayBratt Special Edition? White facial interface plastic with a purple pad maybe?

I've found desktop and floor mount fans work best for me. Also, because I like to peek at my keyboard with flight sims, removing nose flaps helps get more air in and helps keep things fog free.

Is it weird I've never had issues with my Quest 2 fogging up? Before I got it I played some PSVR and it would fog up constantly, so I was really happy the Quest wasn't doing that considering its a lot more physical without a wire

What is the VR fishing rod thing you have?

I'm waiting for quest 3 (I know I won't shut up about it but the hype is real) The quest 2 is front heavy as it is and the added fan on the front might ruin the balance I have for my setup and with the quest 3 being lighter, accessories like this won't effect the front as much. I'm trying to hit the ground running when quest 3 is out!

I had the BoboVR Fan, it did not help me at all. What helped me is taking the nose peace of, no more fogging glasses. Easy and cheaper than the Fans

So, I definitely don't want to give up my infinitely comfortable VRCover FI and PU pad; how do I use this fan with it? Heh. Dremel time?
