In this video I take a look at the BOBOVR F2 ACF - air circulation facial interface which claims to effectively prevent your Quest 2 lenses from fogging up. I run it through its paces and give you my honest opinion on this Quest 2 peripheral.

I was thinking about making my own device for exactly this... Spend hours doing it myself or pay 40 bucks. I think I'll go with the latter. Thanks for the honest review.

Bought one a month ago and it is fantastic.I do not want to play VR without it now it is well worth the money.

Definitely going to be checking this out. My main limit to longterm play is the headset fogging. Especially because I wear glasses. Basically just makes another pocket of warm air that fogs everything up.

I had a similar design in mind when I heard people complain about fogging.
I never had problems with fogging lenses myself. But I think it might help with heat/sweating in the headset.
Btw, I wish some company would make a cover with fabric like the Valve index for the Q2.

Thanks for the clear review, very interesting indeed (as I always have some degree of fog issues)!

I bought one of these as I get really bad fogging on my quest. I have a small, slightly piggy nose, so just normal breathing ends up with warm air getting on the lenses, rendering the headset useless within about 10 seconds of putting it on. I bought one of these on Amazon yesterday, just waiting for it to arrive. The fan will be useful when I do decide to exercise in it, but the faceplate alone seems to do a pretty good job of stopping fog judging by some of the other reviews I've seen on youtube. Would be interesting to see your results without the fan on at all.

It does reduce the FOV compared with the stock interface. It's immediately noticeable on first use. Creates a binoculars/goggles effect.

I'm thinking of going for the upgraded version. If you turned it off after the initial 20 mins of play I presume it wouldn't fog up? It usually the initial use of the hesdset that fogs up for me.

Hope it doesn't mess with my upgraded kiwi elite strap or amvr silicone shell cover.

would it be possible to charge the BOBOVR F2 using the elite battery strap?

Would you recommend it as like a cooling fan for your face? Will it actively cool me off as I play or is it really only to counteract lens fogging?

ive read reviews that when the fans are off it actually makes fogging worse, have you had this issue at all?

or for a couple of pounds you could use anti fog glass cleaner and never get fog on the lenses or even your glasses. been using it for years on my Motorbike helmet visor. save yourself £33 and spend two pounds on anti fog glass cleaner. tadaaaa!
