Can People Get Out Of Hell?

My 7 years I spent as a drug addiction was hell. I choose Jesus.

Let me quote "Bill Wiese" on this one:
-Hell is dark because in (1 John 1: 5) says that God is light.
-In hell, there is only death because in (John 1: 4) says that God is life.
-There is only hatred in hell because in (1 John 4:16) says that God is love.
-There is no mercy in hell because (Psalm 36: 5) says that God is mercy.
-There is no strength in hell because in (Psalm 18:32) says that God gives us strength.
-There is no water in hell because in (Deuteronomy 11:11) says that the waters are the rain from heaven.
-There is no peace in hell because in (Isaiah 9:6) says that God is the prince of peace.

Eternity is a long time to be wrong. So be humble and honest in your pursuit of Truth because there are no second chances on this one, and at the end of the day, you won't regret it, I promise.

Hell was intended for Satan and the legion of angels who followed him. It was never meant for humans. God is trying to prevent you from going down there. Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved.

Hell is locked from the inside is a perfect analogy of a humans heart. Just as heaven is opened from the inside out.

Even as a believer in Christ...I struggle with life's questions...such as, "Am I making a difference for the kingdom? Does this work..matter? Am I doing what I am supposed to be doing...etc? and I have a blessed hope of one day going to Heaven to bow at the feet of Jesus. I can't imagine why anyone would want to go to a place devoid of any purpose...no hope...gnashing of teeth out of hatred towards God...with the Hitler's...and Bundy's of the world...and you know..there is no way to leave that place. If you willfully choose that place over God...you have some serious issues.

No Exit is a great story, and it demonstrates this concept perfectly. In it, there are three people, and only one of them actually says he wants out, and soon after, the door to their room in help opens, but he doesn’t leave, because he’s too concerned with the other two people in there with him, and how they think of him, because he can’t admit to himself that he’s a sinner. This also, of course, explains the concept of pride as the deadliest sin. It’s the one that keeps you from admitting to and atoning for the other ones.

I remember my reaction when first told the gospel. I was angry that I only had two choices, God or satan. I actually complained that God should give me a third choice where I could be free from God and satan, but soon saw that I was and could only ask God for such a place or option. This struck me hard as where could I go to get away from God and what could I possibly have without God? Even my desire for other or independent, depended on God granting me god status but I knew I was not and could never be. The Washington joke is no joke!

It is amazing that some people think they know what God thinks and what everything in the Bible means.
I've never heard a preacher say, "I don't know".

I read a fictitious story once about a man that rejected God in life and then died and went to hell. The description of the realization of his circumstances was disturbing to say the least.
He realized how alone he was. He realized he could not only was there no love, joy, hope, etc. but that he no longer had any memory of these things. He couldn’t even reflect on the good times in is life to ease his loneliness and boredom. He was just surrounded by darkness and nothingness but still conscious.
I’m not describing it nearly as well as the author did if course but hopefully u get the idea.
It was an extremely good Christian suspense murder mystery by Randy Alcorn. I think it was the first book in a trilogy.
Wish I could remember the name. All 3 was amazing! Even non Christians would find them interesting.
