In the Eastern Orthodox Christian Church, Joseph does have his own holiday. We also believe Joseph was much older than Mary and he was more of a guardian than a husband. He had other children that were Mary's stepchildren.

If the story of Joseph having six kids is to be believed, then all eight of them would have been there, looking for space.

There are different Greek words that describe brothers or cousins.
Adelphos and Adelphoi. Adelphos and Adelphoi literally means from the same womb. Anepsios and Syggenis are the usual Greek words defining cousins or kinsman.
