I love that Ben went from being reluctant to start being in Cristines videos, to comfortably telling a story about how he ate straight bowls of hummus to the point of taking a massive gassy poop that set off his carbon monoxide detector. Character development.

Ben, if you ever regret sharing the story, please don’t. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for sharing the hummus detector story with us. It’s one of the funniest stories I’ve ever heard and I have never laughed listening to a podcast before.

"Everything in moderation" says the girl who has 2000 bottles of nail polish, 50 types of tea, 100 pairs of sweatpants.... 😂
(Love you)

The most annoying thing that people say is “It’s all going to end up in the same place!”...Yes, it ends up as shit, but it doesn’t mean it tastes good. You can’t taste the inside of you stomach on a normal basis, so saying it ends up mixed up in your stomach makes no sense. I’m in between and like some food separated and some mixed.

The way Ben so casually said “I don’t fuck with” talking about fruit desserts cracked me up

Ben: "I'm not mixing hummus and chocolate like something that's just objectively bad"
Trader Joe's chocolate hummus: *leaves chat*

Btw, tomato is a berry, so technically a fruit. When I was in South Korea, they gave me a fruit plate and tomato was there inbetween fruits. I love tomato but I don't wanna eat it together with fruits.

In this video:
Beyn: I realized I ate too much hummus when I set off an alarm indicating that it wasn't safe for me to be in my bathroom with my own self.

In the first five minutes:
Ben "This is only going to be fun if we're judging people"
Also Ben "You're being really judgmental"

Disclaimer: I'm Italian and I work in the dairy industry, so I am essentially biased, BUT.... When I hear people (especially non-EU people) talk about cheese, my tiny Italian heart skips a beat. I immediately become real sad because in many places "cheese" equals to either Cheddar of some sort, some weird imitation of Mozzarella and very few other options. If I think of the hundreds of types of cheese that exist around Europe and around the world, it physically pains me to think that some folks only get to know 3 kinds of cheese in their entire life! Like, OF COURSE you'd get bored of cheese or lose the taste for it if it's always the same stuff! I very much understand those who don't like it because they dislike cheese as a category, but really, anyone else who likes cheese but loses interest or taste for it is just a poor unfortunate soul! The world of milk transformation is unimaginably big and colourful and a real joy to witness day by day, I wish everyone could just have a taste of it that went beyond cheddar and fake mozzarella! <3

I don’t like when people mix everything together and say “it’s all going to the same place”... I don’t have taste buds in my stomach so that isn’t relevant hahahahahaa 🤣

“You’re basically just eating 800 chickpeas at once!”
Ben: “ Yep”. 😎

I was sitting on my bed watching this podcast when Ben started talking about his love for humus again so I went downstairs to get some but didn’t have any pets chips... I ended up giving in and eating the whole tub by itself. IM NEVER GOING BACK! ITS AMAZING!
