He said that he came to reveal the Father and that no man had seen his Father or heard his voice at any time. So between Yahweh walking and taking in the garden with Adam and Eve, having been seen and heard by Moses and others, AND revealing no definition of the Father except the example of a perfect Son and teaching the Fathers will - I’d say the two are mutually exclusive by Jesus own words. jesus didn't talk about yahweh, he distanced himself from him in many examples, one of them is when jesus said what kind of father would gave snakes to children when they ask for food, and that's exactly what yahweh did in the desert to the Israelites when he sent them snakes when they ask for food, Jesus said that he came to free Israel from a false god, he often said that the letter this, but I tell you this. False. God never changed, but we do. In the old testament, God the Father actually says that he abhors animal sacrifice and such religious rituals. The only sacrifice we ever needed was the sacrifice of his Son, Jesus. Now, God the Holy Spirit lives within us. Yahweh never changed. We did.

The history is easy to find. Yahweh was a god of war and storms for the nomadic tribes, got big after the bronze age collapse when raiding was common. Once the tribes of Yahweh dominated and stabilized their region Yahweh began to be attributed properties of El and was even dual worshipped with baal, god of storms for the coastal peoples, until yahweh evolved into the best of El and this is where we are. Yahweh is an extraterrestrial. The "Father" to whom Christ refers is the Divine Mind in which everything exists, the God of Light whom he describes in the first part of "The Secret Book of John".
