I think a neat detail about Rebecca is that her brother was killed by someone going through cyberpsychosis and instead of rejecting someone going through a similar condition, she reaches out and tries to help David. I think that's one of the most human moments in the show

My personal favourite Rebecca moment is when David is delivering Pilar's stuff and she opens the door, immediately points a gun at him, and then says basically, "Oh, hey man. What's up?" while *still pointing the gun at David's face*.

Becca is the kind of friend literally no one deserves but everyone needs.

"We're having a moment here!!" Of all possible last words, I love these extremely.

Rebecca's most caring line " OK David, straight to the top."

Rebecca is probably the most mentally stable character in this series.

Sad that she had to go, but hey, it's called tragedy for a reason.

Rebecca is like down bad, no atrocious for David, like admits her thirst to him constantly, yet she's always there for him, and never tries to steal him from Lucy... A real choom till the end. You don't get many like that in Night City.

She's a real ride or die friend. Fantastic character. The Video game studio didn't want her in the show to have her out, but the animation studio making it said, "No, she stays." Lol

"Alright David. Let's go... to the top, then." The look of resignation on her face absolutely WRECKS me every time I see it. It's a look that says that one way or another, this is the end of the line. 💔

My favorite moment with Rebecca had to be when she was walking home with David and she asks him why he froze up in the middle of a firefight. It gets to a point where she tells him he needs to cut back on the cyberware and playfully remarks that she’s got chrome enough to protect them both. David starts to give a dismissive reply, but then Rebecca IMMEDIATELY cuts him off by saying in a stark, almost commanding tone, “I’m serious.”
That was the moment I realized that the show’s writers hadn’t written her with the intention of just becoming a meme or simple comedic relief. She was, as others here have said, a genuine ride-or-die friend. Yes she has a crush on him and, yes, she knows she can’t have him. But damn her if she won’t tear the world apart to make sure that the man she genuinely loves comes out okay.

I wanted Rebecca to survive and for David to notice her move, she deserved a win

I liked Rebecca a hell of a lot more than I assumed I was going to at the onset. She proved to have more depth than just being loud and aggressive. My cousin and I discussed her as a character after we both finished the show.

"A good friend will help you move, but a great friend will help you move a body" that line is definitely going to stick with me. 😆

Becca went out the same way she lived; loving David, shooting guns, and swearing

I think Rebecca represents the human experience to an extreme degree. Every emotion she feels is so vibrant and bursts from her. Shes in complete contrast to the dreary soulless machine that is Night City. Whatever emotions she feels she feels it to the Nth degree. The final episode was so sad especially from Rebeccas POV. She truly loved David, probably more than Lucy did, but deep down she knew that it wasnt reciprocated from David in the same way. She put her feelings second and realized they needed Lucy because she knew that she was the only one who could bring David back from the brink of losing his humanity. Everyone focuses on David and Lucys relationship because they are star crossed lovers but i think what I just described was the most altruistic form of true love ive seen in modern media.

The most memorable moment in this show for me
is that moment when Rebecca says " alrite David, lets go, to the top then"
a soft voice but with great impact to the audience

Allot of folks missed that, she was far more serious, stand off ish, annoyed even, of her brothers clowning.
- After her brother died, she started clowning the way he did. Maybe as a way to keep his spirit alive. Or because she felt the need for that role to be filled in such a harsh world.

Rebecca looking at David as his mind succumbs to psychosis was heartbreaking. She knew, win or lose… they lost. Her short acceptance of “to the top” had so much significance at that point.

Rebecca is the cutest and most energetic and I love it even though I am the exact opposite. Plus perfect comparison at 1:53.
