ADVICE TO THE ONLY CHRISTIAN IN A NON CHRISTIAN FAMILY // struggles, shame, hiding faith

Being the only christian in a non christian family is TOUGH to say the least and I wanted to give advice to anyone who has struggles, shame and has to hide their faith being in this situation. The good thing in this is that God chose you to be saved in the household because He has trusted you to be the warrior, to be the reflection of Jesus in that home. So be the light in the home, be led by the Spirit in your daily actions. Hold onto the promise that your household will be saved because of your salvation and don't let it go, love is never giving up and always being hopeful so hope in the promise that God has given us in His word!

My family goes to church- we are Christian’s, but while I’m living for Jesus and following him, making him number 1, my other family members are lukewarm and just not Godly people. So just if you guys could pray that God will use me to be a light to them and they will be saved ❤

Thank you so much for this video! I can relate so much with the growing up in a Catholic household and being Christian. My mom once made fun of me for praying, but that didn’t stop me for praying. My family goes to church whenever they want or feel like it, and they don’t understand my relationship with God. I wish they could feel the same way I feel, but they do tell me they have God in their life’s and don’t need to go to church to speak to him. Parents prioritize work and apparently are happy.I try to tell them to spend more time with their kids, since I won’t remember them working but the impact or time I spend with them, and they say they do so much for us and that we should be grateful. We are so broken, and I def need to pray for each one of us, including myself. A lot of times I lose it, and I have to remember that I am the first version of the Bible to a lot of people including them. Colossians 3:23 say “whatever you do, do it heartily as to the Lord and not to men.”

Also former Catholic but got saved in my 30's when I didn't live with family any longer. My Dad had already passed. My Mom passed in 2020. I'm supposed to be getting together with siblings and possibly other family Friday/this weekend and they still don't want anything to do with Christianity. It is so difficult. Please keep your light for Jesus and keep praying. Love you sister. (P.S. this might sound weird, but also please don't ever get a hysterectomy like I did in 2019 - it ruins vital strength and diminishes prayer life😭)
