Thank you for this! I am 62 yrs old, and I get a lot of compliments on my black but mostly silver/gray hair. I was not looking to change the color, however, I went carnivore for almost a year and I swear my hair color started going dark again. When I mentioned this to family and friends, everyone told me it was not possible. I'm NOT crazy! 😊

My mother knew a woman whose hair turned white overnight from extreme trauma. How much of our graying or whitening of hair has to do with trauma? Perhaps trauma depletes certain nutrients.

Wow as one who struggled years with anemia, my Grey hair was very little, then shot outta control. But I see now I have been lacking in nutrition as I was always avoiding beef, etc.
I see where I am and what I need.

Dr Osborne, I’m 50 and my whole head is grey and I’m grateful. I have changed my life style and live a healthy lifestyle so probably my hair will go all black as it used to be and if not that’s cool too because I’m wiser and grateful.
P.S: I know 2 people who live very unhealthy lifestyles including smoking and they’re 50+ and they don’t have 1 single grey hair.
Must have to do with genetics. Until recently I never knew that such people existed They’re both female

Be careful on the Copper. I got some.2mg a capsule. Took about 3 (1 a day) over a week and suffered Copper poisoning. Now I will take one every week or two.

Grey hair is a warning sign for mold exposure. In example, Ochratoxin A substitutes for phenylalanine hydroxylase, which inhibits endogenous conversion of Phenylalanine to tyrosine (it's a starvation chemical). Increasing dietary protein delays problems, as mold toxins have been show to slowly accumulate with ongoing exposure (even low-level). Urine testing for molds and other toxins is probably a good idea for starters (OTA half life in humans is 35 days).
