Reminds me of art school graphic design in the 80s, you have so much patience. When it's slowed down you release how much goes into this, well done.

I inked with a #2 watercolor brush for Marvel years ago. Started with Windsor Newton, but found that their quality degraded, so I switched to Scharff Series 3000 finest sables, which are amazing. I love watching other inkers work, because I understand the decisions being made and always think things like "Huh, I would have done THAT THING, THIS WAY". Great video. Excellent brushwork. Reminds me of some of the greats from the 70's.

Old school inking is the best. You can’t beat a brush!

"I move my head away from the mic to breathe in." Love it man! You're a wizard! My nerves can barely handle inking, and my comic pages don't require a fraction of this accuracy!

"When all is said and done, I'll have put 12 hours of inking into this piece." That's it??? The efficiency !!

Great to see someone still using the old ways of doing things.
And you've mastered it.

I've watched hunderds of videos online on inking, and I don't wanna sound all cliche, but this really got me motivated. To see you using a brush really made me smile- it's something I prefer using, and not many peopl opt for that now, so thanks so much for this video!! It's absolutely gorgeous!!

It would be so satisfying being able to draw like this -- in so much depth, knowing it would take hours to complete.

It is such a shame to see so few artists doing this kind of work but I've gotta say, it makes it so much more satisfying to cone across art as lovingly crafted and beautiful as yours. I know I'm not alone when I say I'm not only mesmerized but hugely impressed. You've earned my subscription and I can't wait to see more from you in the future.

Wow this is amazing. At 40 years of age I'm picking up on my artwork again. This is so out of my reach I guess. Very inspirational. A thing of pure beauty.

Stupendous work. Fun to see how a real inker works. I used a Winsor Newton series 7 #2 everyday for about 10 years doing graphic art for prepress. I treated those brush's well and tried a few others but always went back to the Series 7.

No way you can replicate this digitally....so detailed and precise! It should not be called 'old school'; it needs to be called 'only school'!
