I realy thought it was Burns himself drawing!! But even if it's not him now I know that he doesn't achieve these lines with a inking pen but with a brush. Thanks! Makes me want to try!!

This is amazing. I enjoyed watching this video way too much. The music was pretty solid as well! I just love Charles Burns' style so much, it's immensely pleasing to my eyes

Superb, now what I am writing is five years too late but it's great and it is nice to see that you have so many styles when I can't even seem to develop my own. Now sometime back I did see the Moebius video and thought that was great too, now I am not an expert on his work but I think for the most part he used quite a few techniques but it is for me not easy to tell. It looks like for some drawings he certainly used a pen but for many of the stories like 'Blueberry' I would say he used a brush it is so silky and very controlled - but I will have to find film of him to find out for sure. Keep up the good work it certainly inspires.

Genius work Shane, cheers for Raphael 4804 brush info... tried a W&N on a bleedy paper and first of tears ensued, will try again :)

Amazing work my dude. I'm a big admirer of Burns' work and hope to reach this level of proficiency one day. Cheers!

Incredible. I am so glad I found your channel, Shane. It's not just your work (which is flawless) but the quality of the video itself. From the camera angle to the lighting and everything in between, it's extremely good content.

Excuse the pedantry, but that's a Raphael, not a W&N brush.

So is this the general size of all his frames? No way he did all those super tiny frames in black hole.
