Steam Deck Quickie: Setting All Five Custom Artworks for A Non-Steam Application/Game

There are five locations to set "custom artwork" for a game you manually add to Steam. I'll show you how to update all five of the locations, using three custom pieces of artwork I created for Deluxe Galaga. This isn't a comprehensive video; but a quickie thrown together to help out a friend.

Note: I realize these graphics all have special "steam" names; I'm just using names that might make sense :)

The banner is: 1920x620

The box is: 600x900px.

The icon is: 256x256px (.png with transparency)

This was very helpful! I could never find the one for Recent Games. It really should just a menu somewhere where I can set all images in one go. We shouldn't need to SGDB just to make it easy.

For anyone doing this on a system where they'll be using Big Picture mode, you'll need to set your icon to use the horizontal grid image instead of an icon, as there's a long-standing bug that Valve doesn't seem interested in fixing where Big Picture will always display the icon for non-Steam games instead of a grid, even if one has been set.

I started launching City of Heroes Homecoming through Steam to show my friendslist that the game is back, but having blank box icons for such a cool looking game was driving me nuts. Thanks for this!
