Thanks, but the problem I have is the Closed Captions were always turned on...because I have a hearing problem, but two days ago they stopped appearing on the screen. The CC button on the remote will not function, if I try to bring them back nothing happens. Our TV is nine years old, have never had a problem with it. Panasonic model# TC-50AS540C I know this is probably a problem you can't help with, but just thought I would ask.
