If this gets more people riding I'm all for it. That said the major stumbling block for new riders is that there are very few people who teach how to ride correctly and fewer still who know how to learn on their own.

I started seeing the Inmotion ad blitz for this wheel this last week. Looks like a nicer way to learn for sure! Especially for people who want to ride, but actually have a sense of self preservation 😆

Probably too far of a jump back for those just wanting a smaller wheel to practice more difficult techniques on, but if you already have a learner in the family, this seem like a game changer!

Thanks for bringing up that the E20 would be great for learning to ride backwards, that was my question and why I would be interested in it for anything. I've been riding forwards for years and I try to go backwards a couple times each time I go riding, but have yet to be able to get the hang of it.

Dalton!! same thing happened to me when I picked up my EUC and the cutoff button didn't engage, ripped up a sweet pair of Addias track pants that I had kept pristine for over 20 years! burnt a hole in my leg as well.

I started on a similar machine called the "swagroller"😂
Crappy machine, but it got me hooked on EUCs and made me buy a LOT of wheels 😂!
maybe a good move from Inmotion, but at the end this is still a useless wheel once you've learned to ride.
They could have achieved almost the same objective with a wheel like the z10 with an extra large tire. I use the z10 to teach newbies, and it works like a charm! Super stable (ok not as much as the e20) but stable enough to get it fast.
With the advantage that I still enjoy riding my z10 from time to time instead of being ashamed of riding it like I would on a e20😂

I get that this beginner wheel lets you ride the wheel, but do these skills and habits transfer over to learning how to ride a regular EUC? If it doesn't then isn't it detrimental to develop muscle memories and habits that don't apply on a regular EUC so then you would have to try to unlearn before you can learn when you jump onto a regular EUC?

Technically, the tyre goes ON a wheel.
So it is definitely 1 wheel, but with 2 tyres on it.
If the two tyres could turn at different speeds then that would be 2 wheels.

The biggest obstacle to mass adoption is price. It’s a big gamble to try this sport when the prices are where they are. Make something comparable to a bike, price-wise.

For example, V8 for $300 usd would probably garner a lot more riders.

The fun of the sport is way more easily realized when you aren’t fighting buyers remorse AND the complex learning curve of these EUC’s

I'm extremely Intimidated about riding an EUC but I will probably buy one and it will be the fastest EUC I can buy. I'm not buying 2. 😄

Seems to be the best starter wheel, I wanted to get the begode tiny wheel. But getting the V20 to learn it quicker is the right way to go at it. I’m interested
