Andrew, you just explained one of those things that everybody considers obvious, but nobody truly understands. That’s why you are a great doctor! Keep it up!

I have been following your channel and podcast for several months. The non biased delivery of the data has helped me immensely with my relationship with alcohol, my gut microbiome, stretching, and weight training. You explain so many things in fairly layman terms that resonate with me. Thank you.

This is honestly great advice for anyone learning or practicing. Very motivating - it’s not failures, it’s all steps to the top!!

I have been struggling with this for many years but consistent meditation has led to considerable benefits over those years! It’s so frustrating to me occasionally but I know I’m better than when I started.

what a new vision …. Ascending the proverbial staircase during meditation 🙏🏻

I like the ascending the staircase idea I could focus on that

Could not agree with this more, also not getting annoyed with yourself when it happens. It’s all good work!

Anytime my mind begins to play scenarios I go back to “in through my nose out of my mouth” for breathing and it helps

Thank you, stay on course. Don’t let a minor setback, keep you from your Major Comeback!

Or as Dan Harris (10% Happier) puts it - every time you refocus it's like a bicep curl for the brain.

I'm new to meditation and this makes so much sense

That's a really good way to explain it to other people who are trying, I've been meditating on an off now for a few months, but I have really tuned in to the process behind it all and it seems like a alchemical process of the soul it's mad

Thank you I totally needed to hear that. Oh my God thank you so much.

The more often and conscious you do it the more habit forming it is

That's me. My mind wanders. It's frustrating. Thanks for this advice.
