I have a Yashid Factory digital temp gauge that also has knock signal readings too. I have always had a super rich mix because it needs an eco and tune, as well as always having a hesitation. Just today, I got an E 34 code on the display - Knock signal. We just had a really bad spell of cold weather here where I live and it wasn't driven for 4 days and this is the first time I've seen the code flash up. Do you recommend changing sensor and loom before going further, or take it to a tuning technician and have an afr test reading?


Your video has led me to believe that because the fault flashes up randomly and intermittently, its likely a faulty sensor, especially as the car is a 1993 Silvia S13 with the Redtop SR20DET. So this was really reassuring and helpful, even though I am aware there may be further problems with mine
