It’s kind of interesting that all reviewers feel a compulsion to strive to prove mirrorless cameras are far superior to DSLRs in every department. It is therefore, clear to seasoned photographers that, it’s just a promotion on behalf of the manufacturers who are badly in need of sales.

Most of the switchers did so mainly because it is the trend or fashion. Due to peer-pressure.

In reality, these new toys are not superior to DSLRs and there’s no valid reason whatsoever to ditch these wonderful imaging equipment to make room for the smartphone update cameras (mirrorless).

Just notice, all of them carefully avoid mentioning the EVF-lag of mirrorless cameras. Any shot taken with a mirrorless camera is never exactly the same as what was seen on the EVF at that very moment. Because EVF is always behind – an issue these toys are unable to resolve. On DSLR OVF, we see everything instantly at the speed of light remember? So, what we capture is exactly the same as what we see through the OVF at any given moment.

Preview on EVF is another myth. Every experienced DSLR shooter knows exactly how his image will turn out reading the exposure meter in the viewfinder.

Ergonomics, battery life and durability are also prime considerations.

IMO, the only advantage of mirrorless cameras is; third party lens doesn’t need AF microadjustment. But we need to do this for DSLRs.

All the other logics are pointless and baseless.

I'm not into videos so, this feature is not important to me. My smartphone is enough to record casual videos for a few seconds when needed.

Otherwise dont buy a camera

Apt and very clear and informative video.

I have no prior experience in photography, a novice you can say. Today only went to two famous shops of the city, both shops suggested to buy mirrorless camera. In fact both told that DSLR is not in vouge now as their technology is out dated.

This video makes it further very clear as to why should we go for mirrorless camera..even for a beginner..!!

Mirror less camera me software update hota hai .. phone ke tarah camera ka hardware shi bhi rahega, to company software update kar degi aur aapka camera phone ke tarah itna slow ho jayega ki aapko nya camera lena pdega 4-5 saal baad . Avoid mirror less camera.. go for DSLR... IT'S KING

कैमरा चाहे कोई भी हो, उसका down fall होना शुरू हो चुका है और मोबाईल फोन कैमरा को replace कर चुके है, इसका सबसे बड़ा कारण -
१-मोबाइल फ़ोन्स आज के समय मे still/video दोनों ही field में अच्छा results देने लगा है
2-कैमरा का over price होना, हर कोई बन्दा इन्हें खरीद नही कर सकता है और ऊपर से लेंस का selection
3-मोबाइल फ़ोन को carry करना आसान होता है, और वही कैमरा को carry करना अपने आप मे ही सिरदर्द है
