Everyone forgets to talk about the fact that if something goes wrong with a mirrorless camera, the repair price is several times higher than in the case of a DSLR.

You can focus with your finger on a dslr. I do it on my Nikon D5600

A guy with a DSLR and a guy with a mirrorless takes the same photo. They argue about which one is better. Then they both go back to edit their photos in Photoshop. What's the point of all this?

Thanks for the video short.

My Canon 90D and 5DMKIV DSLR allows for these features in “Live View”. The mirror locks up and the rear monitor screen provides your optical view. I can touch focus and use color peak assist manual focusing.

Also have the Sony a6400 & Canon R6MKII

Nah, even PRO DSLRs are robust & now inexpensive from USED Market.
Repairs also inexpensive.
Mirrorless in 3 - 5 years maybe.
Mirrorless still in infancy.

People who already has an expensive DSLR are a bit upset in the comments section I think.

Seriously which one is better in 2024 ..?! Thanks :)

Only when using available or continuous light one can see a preview of the shot ; when using strobes you can't. So you forgot to tell your viewers that part of the story.

And all this at a price 50% higher than DSLRs so that the camera manufacturers can get richer.
I shot over 500 weddings with a Hasselblad with no electronics, and a shutter speed control and aperture control on the lens. All my clients loved their photos. It’s not the camera that makes the photographer.

The sharpness of the image has much more to do with the lens than it has to do with the body, regardless if it's DSLR, SLR or mirorless

I love the speed of Sony SLT Alfa 77 mark 2. What should I upgrade it too ?

How does the lack of a mirror make the image sharper?

That is the wsy it feels to take pics on a dslr it are those moments that you take the shots. I do not see the benefits on a mirrorless camera over a dslr.
I am a nature macro and landscape photographer. It is the best way to learn how to take pics and if they fail you have more to learn.

Learn to use a DSLR better because it's better for skilled photographers, trust me.

Use live view on a DSLR, same as Mirrorless. Best of both worlds.

Use the DSLR with real time viewfinder

reason #1 - live view
reason #2 - true but negligible (i have sharp eyes)
reason #3 - touchscreen focusing (not all mirrorless have it)
reason #4 - again, negligible

these are just lazy reasoning 🤣 invest on knowledge first then gears.. date the body, marry the lens..
