I use Mirrorless with adapter DSLR lenses. They’re so cheap and great quality.

I'm saving on getting a z6, and I'd still buy DSLRs because of their fast AF, reliable camera bodies and it costs less as time goes by

People also use mirrorless because of the quietness of it so if it's people in wildlife it won't scare the subject away but that's just one situation.

You can still use DSLRs today for making photos— when you see a still image, nobody really knows if you shot it with a mirrorless camera or an iPhone… if you’re a snobby hobbyist, maybe you might care about what kind of camera you own, but for experienced artists, it’s the stories… the emotions… and now it’s about creating something out of almost nothing.

One major thing about DSLRs is the mirror. It’s delicate at times. I have a Nikon DSLR that has a diopter correction next to the viewfinder- sometimes i don’t notice that the diopter shifted on me and I would get out focus images because I was trying to focus in dark scenes with moving subjects, and on the older DSLRs, focusing elements doesn’t have as much resolving power as 10 years later— but if you need to take sports shots or people shots with true focus on the eyes… then a mirrorless is for you. 👍

in my opinion. the people who don't really need to switch over to mirrorless are portrait photographers.
