The fact that you effectively goof on the killer is probably my favorite part about this. Instead of finding some clever or witty way of escaping or brute forcing your way out, you just chuck a head at him and KO him in one go. Just goes to show that serial killers are really not as intimidating as their projected persona would imply - that and the fact that he likely only preyed on the weak or defenseless and Arthur/John are neither.

I don’t know whats more scary about RDR2:
1. The Brutal Gangs and the serial killers
2. The writers, animators, and designers who have to think and create the gangs and individuals
3. Or the accuracy of some of the interals and gore within the game

I wanted to see what would happen if you don't help the sheriff when Lowry attacks him. It turns out the sheriff just shoots him and he doesn't give you a reward for being a bastard.

The black water athletic team pit thing always just kinda stuck with me. None of the other murders or Easter eggs really made me have like a shocked reaction. But seeing that pit of bodies in the woods..
It just felt real. The other murders were over the top and insane, but the pit of corpses just felt like some shit that would really happen.

I always thought that Edward Lowry (RDR2) was the ancestor of "Eddie Lowe"(GTA4)... they're both serial killers, crazy as shit, and their names are too similar. Last names are or at least were shortened a lot, back of the day. I haven't looked up in years, but when I did, I couldn't find much on it, but the fact that they both have a very similar names, are both serial killers, and supposedly in the same universe, etc, idk how it's not addressed more.

He's kidnapped alongside his friends, one by one they all die, and he himself is also harmed but isn't killed.
Traumatized, he silently walks through the wilderness in shock, only for a creeped out cowboy to shoot him down.

Perfect dark horror movie ending.

I was ridiculously excited when I was able to find his lair right away after getting the map because I'd done so much exploring and just recognised it. But finding each of those, er, body depositories from the weird music and vibes---brr. Thanks, game, and let's not do this again.
