I love the invested the actors got in their roles after 5 years of production that they understood them inside and out and would speak out if it felt something was against their characters. Gabriel Sloyer did a great job as Javier.

I really like Javier and felt bad when we were on opposite sides in the end. He wanted to be with his leader, but didn't want to hurt his family. I like that the VA pointed out that it would feel wrong if he did, and it really adds a lot to his character.

Javier is up there for me for one of the best rdr characters, he’s one of the only ones who pauses when lenny dies on the roof tops, and he actually shows compassion and love to those he considers family.

Always loved Javier and honestly I think it's sad that it gives you in the option in rdr1 to kill him. It made me feel like a monster the moment I pushed the button

The actor had a really good grip about the character, just shows how much he’s into it, props to him as well as the developers who approved it

If you go frame by frame, when it cuts from dutch's side to arthurs side and then back to dutch's side, you can see for a split second that javier DOES point his gun at them. just right before the pinkertons fire their first shots

I hope this game never dies even once its 50 years later. One of the best. I love the detail, alot of it is even just small physics like what i discovered today, the farm by rhodes. Theres milk jugs in the shed by the house, if you shoot the bottom on them, itll start leaking milk and create a puddle. So much small detail you wouldnt even think would be in the game

If Javier got captured by the pinkertons in chapter 1, Arthur would have to go by himself to save John, cause Dutch says everyone is resting and not fit, Arthur and John would get mauled by the wolves when rescuing John

He does point his gun. Look closely he aims slowly

Just shows how much the voice actor wa invested in his role if he wanted a cutscene to change because he thought the character he was voice acting was acting out of character in that scene.

Javier do point his gun to Jhon and Arthur, the only thing is he point at they slowly, you can see it when the Pinkartons take the first shot, that Javier is pointing at them

when javier points the gun in the air, you can see that his hand was shaking. look closley and you'll se.

also i felt bad for javier since he is my favorite member of the gang... he considered everyone like his brothers till the end. he was so loyal to dutch to believe what happened to the gang.

Gabriel Sloyer himself said that Javier wouldn't had "turned against Arthur" but they had to make RDR1 story make sense

I always thought that’s just how Javier holds a gun. He held it that same way in the Braithwaite Manor mission

Bill was also kinda cool in RDR2. His interactions with Arthur and John are so good. At the campfire when je explains his PTSD from the army it explains alot, coupled with him being looked at as the idiot. Yet he planned the most successful heist of the game.

In the next clip when the gang is running away, you can see javier pointing his gun at arthur and john

A lot of people also forget he is an innocent. He’s the one who also agreed to pretend to let John die because he was the only one besides Micah who went Dutch to retreat John.
