"I wonder why there weren't skinners in RDR1"
John in the time between both games:

Considering how good John is with guns there is no shame in being scared to face him. Rdr1 has shown it's the sensible thing to do it took a literal army to bring him down.

I play RDR2 stealthily and when it comes to Skinner Brothers I like to pick them off one by one. Every Skinner Brothers corpse I encountered are headless because I always blast it with my sawed off. They very damn well fear John after that.

I just love that entire moment of how John wants to quit outlaw life yet becomes so good at it even the most twisted criminals fear him.

With these guys around, the Pinkertons are spending time chasing you?!

They should really fear us after what they did to uncle and Wayne

Imaging being one of them and just seeing a guy running towards you and shooting all your friends 12 times with a sixgun.

I don’t actually think they’re talking about John. They’re talking about the one skinner who starting acting in a threatening way. He is the “Feller who’s crazy.”

Pretty sure they were scared of the schizophrenic skinner brother in their gang, was talking about seeing things and was talking too himself.
Not talking about John.

I’d say Arthur and John are the only people powerful enough to not only kill dozens of gang members, but actually send them all into a fearful craze!

Arthur was obviously well-feared by the O’Driscoll’s, the Lemoyne Raiders, AND the Murfree while John is feared by the Skinner Brothers, the Laramies, AND the Del Lobos!

I like your videos but they aren't talking about John here, they're talking about the guy that is laughing.

With John being an absolute sigma in the first game and how amazing he was with weapons. It makes you wonder how he learned it from Arthur. You know John isn’t to mess with when he’s got psychopathic people looking over their shoulder. Truly a cold son of a bitch.

John is the second best gunslinger after Arthur, its only natural for his enemies to fear him.

If you don't get the oil wagon for John he'll take care of it for you.

The dumbest thing I have seen is that you get attacked by the skinner brothers, you capture one of the members of the their gang and tie them up to take to the police, you get a "do gooder" who reports you for kidnapping and have a warrant issued for your arrest . I even had the skinner brother follow me all the way to the jail after I released them to "set them up" and after the skinner brother attacked me with a knife inside the police station, they ignored him and arrested Jon . But yet when I capture one of the Skinner brothers when it's a bounty, nobody says a word . How would a citizen know that in one situation, a man tied to the back of my horse is for a bounty, but in another, it's supposedly kidnapping ?

John and Arthur were hands down the two best gunslingers of the gang. Those two alone (throw Charles in there, actually) probably could’ve wiped out the entire Skinner and Brood population.

Edit: Let me correct myself… John and Arthur weren’t just the best gunslingers of the gang, they are two of the best in the entire Red Dead universe along with Harlow and Ricketts.

I always make a stop at that one camp near bearclaw on my way to the trapper. I like playing mind games with them. Gas lighting so to speak. It’s pretty fun.
