Hey, in the disk section im not getting the /sdb disk, only showing the /sda, so that means i cannot add the storage, can you please help me, i used proxmox on virtual box, thank you

ProxMox 7.4 and newer there is an option to clean up old storage names so you don't have to manually fix that in CLI.

A customer of ours has a Proxmox installation that we've installed for them on-premises to run several services. As I was adding in a new HD to the system recently, the owner told me to stop what I was doing because he didn't want his instance controlled by an AI. I confusingly asked WTF he meant. He actually thought that intializing the disk using GPT would install ChatGPT onto his machine and would take over it 🤦🏼‍♂

running Jelfin Container and i successfully mount the drive on the container, But cant write to the mount. Permission denied. Any fix?

if none of my other drives are GPT -- older computer which does not support this, is there a reason I need to make my disks GPT ? I have 2 1TB HDDs I will use for VMs.

Very valuable Video. I am having a hard time setting up the storage. I am newbie and please excuse my lame questions. Below are what I see in the disk section. And when I go to the directory, to create directory, it is empty. I am sure there is something I am missing. I have SAS drives and I have set up RAID 5 on this machine. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
