Thank you! Part of my exams tomorrow are based on this topic, which has always been a struggle for me since my teacher's don't explain it well, but now I get it! This is the literally only percentage video I actually understand.

Mr. Thompson -> Putting a sentence together and showing a demonstrable use of your equation is excellent and I wish my math teachers many years ago would have used this technique for algebraic equations etc. Thank You very much .

My kid’s math workbook has a really complicated way of solving percentage problems using “a number is a percent of another number” - what a bunch of baloney!
Your explanation is so much less complicated. The “is over of” is the best!
