I love my mini 6. I got it solely for watching media and that’s, to me, what it’s best for. The size is awesome and is perfect for setting up to watch YouTube, Prime or whatever. Plus it’s a cool device to connect my PS5 controller to and play some games on.

I have a 12.9 inch iPad Pro… Fourth generation, I use it but as far as I’m concerned, it’s not “portable“. Now my iPad mini six is by far my absolute favorite iPad ever, I’ve had the iPad mini since they first came out and it’s the perfect iPad in my opinion. It’s actually portable, I can throw it in my purse. It goes everywhere with me, it’s not a laptop replacement, I don’t need a laptop replacement. I need a laptop when I need a laptop and I need an iPad for video consumption or texting simple things like that While I’m sitting on the couch watching TV. The iPad mini is the best iPad hands-down. I am absolutely looking forward to an upgraded seven version. If that happens this year, I will definitely upgrade. Unfortunately my mini is 64G and I definitely need more space than that, so I will definitely upgrade if a new one comes out this year.

I just bought the Pro but I already had the mini. The mini is my second phone/companion to my IPad Pro 13 inch. The mini is portable enough to carry with me everywhere. Now the fact that Apple is still selling this for 499 is crazy!

I really hope we get a mini 7. Just a modern processor to run console games and dip my toes into Apple Intelligence and maybe a storage upgrade. I will probably keep my Mini 6 for a home control device or pass to a family member.

Love my mini 6, originally bought it just because I sold my iPad Pro 12.9 M1 and still had the Apple pencil...I wanted the cheapest iPad option to support the Pencil 2, so the mini 6 was a perfect buy at $400 (summer of 2023). I had the mindset that I would barely use it but that it was okay because the price wasn't horrible. However, I find that I constantly use it as a companion device to my Macbook and iPhone...in other words, it is an actual tablet and not an oversized wanna-be MacBook. As soon as the mini 7 is launched I will be waiting in line...to me, this will be Apple's best product of the year!

I prefer having my tablet as a tablet and my computers as computers

I don’t always need a workhorse every day in school so I can just shove this in my mini bag and not have to worry about lugging around my MBP

I hate that Apple didn't upgrade it to M2 and 128GB when they updated the Air. This current mini-iPad cost too much. 64GB is useless and 256GB is way too expensive.

I was so bummed they didn’t release the Mini 7! That’s the only thing I’m looking forward to. I have a MacBook Air, IPad Pro 11”, and my Mini 6. Hands down, my fave is the Mini!!! ❤

I absolutely still love my Mini 6 and it has become my most used Apple product ever! Actually, I think it is my most used piece of tech ever 😅 However, I gotta admit, getting one with M1/ M2 and higher refresh rate would be awesome 🤞

Love mine! Replaced a 4th gen mini with it last year. It makes a perfect “in between” device when a phone is too small but I don’t want to deal with my MacBook Pro on my lap. Mostly use it for YouTube, safari and occasional iMessage/facetime.. and quick sketches. I got a cheap pencil clone off Amazon and keep it in a speck folio case. It’s a great size to tossing in my laptop bag with a switch and power bank

They need to eliminate the bezels like they do on the iPhone and give the display Promotion with OLED (doesn’t have to be tandem).
