Sorry...I could not disagree more. I was totally engrossed in this episode. My only quibble is they used the wrong type of P-51. Should have been the B/C model...not the D. This IS based in history...the Tuskegee airmen are brought in because they WERE brought as POWs to Stalag Luft 3 where Buck and Bucky are. It's ALL part of the same story. I will agree the story line with Crosby/Westgate could have been nixed....but I guess they felt they needed at least one female character (and I loved her character...just felt that screen time could have been better utilized). I still put this series in between BoB and The Pacific...but closer to BoB.
