It is nice to see this side of these dogs. We are used to the highly trained, ready for battle partners to their handler. This is an entirely different partnership. So gentle and caring for the everyday needs of his charge. He has the same intensive look in his eyes as he goes about doing his job. Just as impressive as the battle ready. Our new Malinois pup has taken to helping my Alzheimer’s afflicted husband when he’s having a particularly bad moment. It’s just something she’s started doing instinctively. Definitely a Blessing from God. Friends found her abandoned & starving in a field and brought her to us because they knew I had been praying for a new snuggle-buddy ESD to replace the one that had just passed. My first dog was a German Shepherd. If you came to our house, he would meet you at the gate, walk you to the door. Wait with you to see if anyone was going to allow you in. After a minute he would use his body to block you from the door, if you didnt take the hint he would pull you by your shirt, if you still didnt leave he would mouth your handcand pull. Them he would lick your hand in his jaws and drag you out of the yard. I miss you Frosty.

That dog was my everything, right down to my soul. 😢 45 years have passed and i still have his dog tags.

Thank you for this video... It is very nice to see a different side of these puppies - dog sash when they're not working that they have an everyday life of play and relaxation and they could be gentle like your video said and being a helper. That is awesome and I see all the energy they have and they store.. That the owner would definitely have to have the same amount of energy to not have the dog be bored. Thank you for showing different sides to these dogs. They are beautiful dogs.. Smart!! Thank you for giving them love and a loving home
