Start the alternating dumbbell snatch with a dumbbell on the ground bent at the hips. Grab the dumbbell with one hand and driving with the hips explode up and catch the dumbbell with a straight arm overhead. Then while above your head switch hands and lower the dumbbell back to the ground and repeat.

What is the point of switching the hands? Just seems like a source of accidents, especially with heavy weights. Might as well do a "half set" with one hand, switch on the ground and the rest of the set with the other hand.
