How to Repair drywall

Honestly not that bad for a small patch. Saves some time and that’s ok. Different situations call for different methods. Let’s say you had no wood or way of cutting wood with you and you need to repair it fast because you’ve got a nice lady coming over lol. Not everything has to withstand a Bruce Lee roundhouse kick, it’s just drywall

Bro iv been a painter drywall finisher and a pro remodeler for 12 years and I would never patch like this. Any pressure at all and it will go right though. It’s a terrible patch.

This is fast and loose. Unless that piece is wedged into the edges of the wall it’s going to float on the mesh tape and move. Better to use a wood backer that’s solidly attached to the wall instead of using a ton of mesh tape.

It's about freaking time somebody got it right? But if. You use spray glue It works even better especially when you have no wood for backing on the job
