In South India we offer Water first as a sign of hospitality. Later we ask their preferences of whether Coffee or Tea. Most of our guests would be settled with either a coffee or tea. And then later we invite them to join us for the meal of that moment ( breakfast if the guest arrived in the morning, lunch if it was noon and dinner if it was evening)

In india cold drinks are not cola products but lemonade or other squashes and juices, some times buttermilk, lassi etc. And fancy is cola products.

No body offers fanta coco cola we offer lassie or butttermilk sharbath or drinks made from citrus fruits fruit juices hot masala milk etc the list is so long so much of variety we have

in our country, they give 6.5 or 7 points if they speak like this, for experience, I deliberately found mock questions and memorized answers equal to 9, and I spoke them naturally,
chatgpt or online Mock tests gave me 9 marks for this speech but in our state mock i got 6.5 for this same speech, It's unfair, isn't it?😢

I also had same topic unfortunately I couldnt speak very well cuz I had no idea 😅.I got 6.5 from speaking but my level was much higher around 7.5

it's not on band 8.. it's more like 5.5 or 6.. not such wide range of vocab.. just using 'something like this something like that' is not sufficient !

If the guest is in a hurry (like someone who is visiting for wedding card distribution) we offer lemon juice or any other fruit juice like tender coconut. If the guests had some time to chit chat we would offer them tea or coffee with some snacks and banana. Water is mostly commonly offered 1st
