I once had a conversation with some friends where I lamented my overuse of "like" as well as "um" and "uh." Noting that it's difficult to fix consciously, I hypothesized that some sort of strong, unpleasant feedback immediately after saying one of these might yield a much faster adjustment.

This hypothesis was confirmed quickly. One of my friends immediately started making a loud, annoying buzzer noise every time I said one of those words. Within a couple of minutes I was much more aware of using those terms.

(I'd recommend multiple doses. Without reinforcement, the "treatment" never took.)

I think that a reason your speaking stands out as so well put together is that you never use filler words when you pause. You never make it awkward, you just let the silent moment happen. As a speaker this can feel nerve wracking, but as a listener it is actually nice to have these quiet pauses, and gives you an air of confidence and discipline. Probably the most counterintuitive aspect of speaking, and I'd say you've mastered it.
