My 2 month old has been really good at moving his head since rooting around at birth. He's pretty active overall. In addition to that he had pretty bad reflux so was held to sleep a lot over the first 6 weeks. I think this contributed to him keeping his perfectly round head (c section baby). Pediatrician even commented on it. I'll definitely be more aware for our next though as we may not get as lucky.

Thanks for this tip! Wish I would have known this for my son before he needed months of physical therapy to correct torticollis. But now I know for the upcoming baby!

How often is often? Like once or twice per movement (e.g., tummy time, when they're sleeping, etc.?) Are there positions that they should sleep in that will help them move their heads better? I've been switching sides (placing the head at the front of the crib, then back of the crib) to help with this. My daughter tends to switch sides more when I do that.

Thank you for your video. My son is 14 and we are only now learning that his head is tilted to the left due to a skull on atlas misalignment. If only I knew and all those doctors could see. Now that he's 14 we are working on the problem. Do you think because it is so late that he will always have to need chiropractic or cranial adjusting for life??

Do you recommend a Baby Head Shaping Pillow? Or just turning baby’s head?

I heard that a baby's neck had to be a certain length to even be able to speak it's first word so if a baby's neck is like half a centimeter longer than normal would it start speaking earlier if that's the reason

Hi! We have a problem with our 4 mo. She won’t turn her head on her cheek when she tires on tummy time. What could be the reason for this? She turns her head otherwise both ways equally. But not when on her tummy, she faceplants and cries in distress :( I worry that now that she’s rolling she will suffocate.
